What documents do I need to join iD Bill Pay?

If you want to join iD Bill Pay, we will need to confirm both your ID and your address, but don't worry it's easy!
To confirm your ID, please provide one of the following:
  • A current passport
  • An Irish Passport Card- back and front are required
  • A current driver's licence
  • A current EU national identity card. There must be an expiry date.
To confirm your address, please provide one of the following:
  • A copy of a recent utility bill
  • An existing mobile network bill
  • A Government letter - P60 is the only document accepted and must be dated in the current year
  • A bank statement or bank fee notice - the account number must be blacked out
  • Credit Card statement- the credit card number must be blacked out.

If you are a Bill Pay customer who is moving their number to iD you must also provide a bill from your current network operator, showing your mobile number, network account number and be dated within the last three months. If this address is the same as your current address this document will suffice as proof of address also.

All proof of address documents must be dated within the last three months.
